Then in this week’s tip segment, we’ll chat with Educator and Paramedic Mark Terry who worked with the American Heart Association on the project to create a specific Prehospital provider CPR class. Tip of the Week:  BLS for Prehospital Providers Course Interview

HCFRS_CPR_DemoThis week on the MedicCast for the tip of the week we take a look at the brand new BLS CPR for Prehospital Providers course from the American Heart Association (AHA). This course is described on the AHA site as a special program designed just for the EMS market. It has both online and classroom components so that we can save time spent on training around our hectic schedules.

The course focuses on the high quality, field provider Pit-Crew style CPR and resuscitation that we have been talking about a lot for the last few years. If you want more information, check out the page at Heart.org by going there and searching for BLS for Prehospital Providers. So here’s Mark Terry, one of the primary course designers and educators who worked on this class.
