This week on the show, I’m looking forward to setting up our podcast studio to record live from EMS Today in just a few days. We’ll be there all next week bringing you the best and brightest from this EMS conference in our nation’s capital. There will be thousands of our nation’s EMTs and paramedics converging on Washington, D.C. next week to participate in education, policy discussions, and important career networking.
Meet Your Favorite Podcast Hosts
The MedicCast Productions team will be there, along with the rest of the ProMed Network’s EMS programming favorites. Chris Montera from the EMS Garage will be there and Greg Friese from the EMS Educast will be hosting special education focused episodes of the MedicCast from our podcast studio in the exhibit hall there.
Make sure you come in and see us if you’re going to be there. We always look forward to meeting you and it is the audience that we keep bringing our shows out each week so make sure you stop by and say hi to me and the rest of the podcasting team there.
Brand New Disaster Podcast Starting
Among the highlights we’ll be bringing you is the launch of a brand new podcast called the Disaster Podcast with my co-host Sam Bradley. The Disaster Podcast is brought to you by the generous support of Joe Holley and Jim Logan from the Paragon Medical Education Group. They will be running their innovative “real life” cadaver lab at EMS Today again and if you haven’t signed up to participate in this innovative educational tool, you want to make sure you do so.
Also, we’ll have Dr. Kevin Seaman from Howard County, Maryland EMS who will be hosting the East Coast Resuscitation Academy at EMS Today. Dr. Seaman will be sharing his thoughts on this program and give you some tips on the show about how you can work as an individual provider to improve cardiac arrest survival rates in your community.
All of that and more will be coming to you from EMS Today’s podcast studio this year so follow us on our social media channels for updates and links to this excellent content if you can’t make it there live.
