Clear Collar Innovates on the Old Standard Cervical Collar

I always enjoy checking out all of the new things I see at conferences like EMS Today. I get to see what is new and innovative in emergency medical services tools and techniques for patient care. Clear Collar is one of those items that takes an old standard concept like cervical spine immobilization and says “we can do it better.”
I think they’ve definitely improved on the standard of care with their adjustable clear collar product. The entire collar is made of a flexible, TRANSPARENT, plastic that allows for both patient comfort and visualization of injuries under the collar. Now if we can just perfect the xray goggles, we’ll be able to see through our other interventions as well. Until then, the Clear Collar is the best alternative.
