Tip of the Week: EMS Today Finale Part 1
This is the first of a two-part finale episode from the EMS Today conference in Baltimore. The Podmedic Jamie Davis and Chris Montera of EMS Garage come together and interview Andy Lovell, GCEMS Chief and discuss Aladtec’s EMS scheduling product called EMS Manager which is basically a web based service also available on a smart phone that aids in scheduling of hundreds of providers in an EMS system.
Another guest that come on the show was Dr. Anonymous and Dr. Meyers and get on a discussion on EMS and emergency medicine. Keith introduced a product called BEAR (Bariatric Equalizing Abdominal Restraint) which functions by turning a regular cot into a bariatric cot by keeping the abdominal mass centered into the cot, diminishing the risk for tipping because of weight shifting especially while in transport. Josh from Wantynu also talks about the features of the TK3, an oxygen tank wrench designed to operate in a wider environment.
