Texas Ambulance Delay and a New MedicCast News
blubrry.com
A report from a Texas mother who allegedly waited for up to an hour for an ambulance for her sick child seems alarming. On second look, though, it seems a bit over blown. While I understand the mother’s concern, her child seems to have had an isolated seizure that had resolved by the time 911 was called. The first two ambulances that were sent were diverted to more critical calls and the third ambulance did eventually arrive and take the child to the hospital. Check out the article here.
