Do you wear adequate eye protection? Maybe not.  An article I found, discusses the dangers of prolonged UV exposure to the eyes. Wearing sunglasses can stave of vision disorders that may not manifest for years. Cataracts, macular degeneration, and photokeratitis are just some of the long term disorders that are affected by long term exposure to sunlight.

A little tip about your shades, go to a safety supply store. Welding supply stores are a great source for good shades that aren’t too dark, but have good protection. I had Lasik surgery last year and I’m a sunglass freak. I always had to have glasses that would change to really dark when I wore glasses. The problem was that they didn’t change back fast enough and they fogged up really badly. Now i can see without my glasses and I can pick up a great pair of UV protective shades for about $10. Get Lasik and get some shades. Little plug, use a TLC Lasik Center. Those guys know their stuff.
