Avian Flu Movie isn’t just bad, It’s Bad!!
In the middle of reports about the Federal response to a pandemic being unable to help much at the local levels, good news about the avian flu comes in. In a story from Europe about migratory birds, international health officials are pleasantly surprised that the expected cases of avian flu amongst the arriving spring migratory birds is low. Many had expected these birds to bring with them a wave of avian flu problems. This is good news for the U.S. who is closely watching the current influx of spring arrivals for avian flu.
Meanwhile, Hollywood couldn’t wait to bring out a bird flu disaster movie. This past Tuesday USA networks aired one of the most irresponsible pieces of video trash I’ve heard of in a long time. In what one commentator likened to “showing a plane crash movie onboard an aiplane”, the movie presented rioting, bodies piled in the streets, and barbed wire quarantines of whole cities.
Seriously, people! If you’re going to take advice from a TV Movie on health matters then I’d like you to look at some beachfront property I have for sale in Arizona!

You could well be right about the Bird Flu movie being no more than Hollywood hype.
However it is also true that well, over 50% of all those who were infected by the virus, were killed by it..
Now that may not seem a lot, but this is a BIRD virus and it is not supposed to be killing humans!
However, we believe that you are right in thinking that there is no real need to panic about the bird flu virus at this time.
Of course, it would be foolish to not remain vigilant, considering that the virus seems to be slowly but surely creeping from the East to the West across the globe!.
